Travis Allen Perney, 28, of 3026 E. CR 1450N, North Manchester, died at 5:58 p.m. Dec. 3, 2012, in Parkview North Hospital. He was born May 14, 1984, in Warsaw, to Don and Sheryl Stokes Perney. In December 2009, he married Michelle Bumbaugh, who survives. He was a devoted husband, father and son. He was a hard worker and owned TAP Construction LLC. His leisure time was spent golfing. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Chapman Lake. Also surviving are his children: Danielle, Landon, Joey, Jake and Isabelle, all of Warsaw; his father, Don (and spouse Tammy Nowakowski) Perney; his mother, Sheryl Hanna; a sister, Amy (and spouse Keith) Pfeiffer, Warsaw; a half brother, Tyler Ingle, Warsaw; grandparents, Bob and Alice Perney, Robert and Judy Stokes and Virginia Hanna; a stepsister, Nicole Westerhoff, Warsaw; a stepbrother, Shane Hanna, Warsaw; aunt and uncles: Betsy Lyster; Scott Perney; Tammy (and spouse Jeff) Virgil; Tim (and spouse Pat) Stokes; Shelly Visel; Todd (and spouse Sherry) Stokes; Shawn Stokes; Tyann Stokes; and Joel (and spouse Cassie) Stokes; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Mark “Buckwheat” Hanna. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Sweetwater Assembly of God, North Manchester, with Pastor Chad McAtee officiating.
