I would like to commend Senators Harry Reid and Ted Kennedy and others of the congressional staff for their continued example of ignorance and stupidity by once again ridiculing our government, specifically our CIA on national television on the subject of torture tactics. Yet, our congressional leadership never speaks out against the inhumane torture tactics that are being used by Islamic terrorists on our soldiers and innocent civilians today.
I can only imagine the jubilation that was felt by the Islamic community as they listened intently to our nation's leaders once again questioning the capabilities of the CIA over an issue that, in my opinion, should have been classified. One can rest assured that the Islamic terrorists could care less about the Geneva Convention or what sort of tactics they utilize to torture our soldiers and innocent civilians. But that fact didn't seem to carry much weight in this week's debate. Our Congressional leadership in my opinion spends far too much time trying to discredit our government in an effort to appease world opinion, which only redirects the focus from the real problem - the Islamic terrorists who are actually to blame for the death and destruction that many world leaders continue to ignore.
Where were Senators Reid and Kennedy when some of our troops were tortured and mutilated in Iraq? Where was Jimmy Carter when Iranian Muslim radicals held Embassy personnel prisoner for 144 days? Where was Bill Clinton when the USS Cole and the first Trade Center building were attacked? Why? Did Senator Dick Durbin accuse our troops at Guantanamo Bay of being Nazis? Why did Senator John Murtha state that our military was broken, that America would never win in Iraq? Why did Senator Ted Kennedy hold up poster-size pictures from Abu Grhaib in front of every television camera?
Every time our nation's leadership stands in front of a television camera and broadcast that we went to war because President Bush lied, that the war is wrong, and that our soldiers are tortured, that we should leave Iraq, they give the Islamic butchers the idea that America is weak and can be easily defeated. Each time that our Congress or Senate publish or broadcast stories about our national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, they become united with the cancer who is attempting to destroy our country. Some of our Congress and Senate have forgotten that America is at war. Our CIA must be allowed to utilize whatever means necessary to get at the truth. We are fighting a heartless and ruthless culture of individuals brainwashed by a perverted ideology known as Islam that is bent on world domination. The continued ignorance of our Congressional leadership will only serve in the best interest of our enemy and will ensure death and destruction for America.
Why? Does the American public remain silent while our nation's leaders such as those previously mentioned continue to sell out America? Has America gone blind and deaf as well?
