The Award of Excellence honors funeral homes that demonstrate the highest standards of professional service, legal compliance, community involvement, continuing education and family care, according to a provided news release.
“The award is not a competition. It’s not given by vote based on popularity. It is a real achievement for a funeral home staff to meet the high standards of the program and be given this award.” said IFDA Executive Director Andy Clayton, CFSP of Indianapolis. “Nor can a firm rest after receiving it. Each year they must continue to meet the standards and requalify to maintain this designation.”
