Tippecanoe Woman Dies In Tuesday Night CrashA 30-year-old woman was killed Tuesday night after her vehicle crashed into a utility pole.

According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis, at approximately 10:57 p.m. Tuesday, emergency crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision on CR 700S.

According to the preliminary results of the ongoing investigation conducted by the KCSO Fatal Team, the vehicle, a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Amber L. Meyer, 30, of Tippecanoe, was traveling east and left the north side of the road, striking a NIPSCO utility pole.

Meyer, the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma, Kosciusko County Coroner Tony Ciriello said.

Responding agencies included KCSO, Silver Lake Police Department, Burket Fire Department, Mentone EMS, Lutheran EMS, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office and Parkview Samaritan Air Ambulance, which was disregarded.
