Timothy A. ‘Tim’ Hine

SYRACUSE – Timothy A. “Tim” Hine, 72, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at Masons Health & Rehabilitation in Warsaw.  

He was born on Jan. 19, 1949, in Warsaw, to Joseph and Harriet Rupprecht Hine. Tim graduated from North Webster High School, class of 1967. He was a proud graduate of Purdue University and remained a lifelong resident of North Webster. Tim was a loyal member of the American Legion Post 253 of North Webster and was an avid animal activist. Tim was an entrepreneur with successful businesses in both North Webster and Syracuse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Candice (Singrey) Hine; his brother, David (Linda) Rupprecht; his brother, Rodney Hine; his sister, Cheryl (Henry) Fordyce; and his brother-in-law, Garry Valentine. Surviving are his sister, Samie Hine; sister, Joni (Brian) Snider; brother, John (Patricia) Rupprecht; sister, Mary (Garry) Valentine; and many nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday,   Sept. 16 at noon at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with calling two hours prior, from 10 a.m. to noon.  Interment will follow at the North Webster Cemetery.  Following the interment, there will be a meal provided by the North Webster American Legion Post 253 for anyone wanting to attend.
