Three Injured In Two-Vehicle Collision Near Milford WednesdayMILFORD – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident south of Milford Wednesday afternoon.
At 2:57 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to CR 900N, in the area of Orn Road, for a two-vehicle collision, according to information provided by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis.
The initial results of the investigation indicate that a 2017 Jeep Renegade, driven by German G. Gomez-Rodriguez, 31, Milford, was traveling west on CR 900N and began to turn left into a private driveway. The Jeep entered the path of a 2011 Ford Escape, driven by Jillian O’Sullivan, 39, of Oak Forest, Ill. The Escape was traveling east.
After the two vehicles collided, the Escape landed on its passenger side, south of the road, and the Jeep left the north side of CR 900N, according to the KCSO information.
The three occupants of the Escape were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries. They included O’Sullivan; front-seat passenger Marjorie Meyer, 72, Fort Wayne; and an unidentified 10-year-old boy in the rear driver’s side passenger seat.
Gomez-Rodriguez was not transported.
Along with KCSO, Milford Police and Fire departments and Lutheran EMS responded to the scene.
