ARGOS – Thomas Millard Morton, 70, of 12171 19-B Road, Argos, died at 1:14 p.m. Dec. 18, 2012, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, after being in declining health for several months.
He was born Sept. 22, 1942, in Michigan, to Millard Thomas and Evelyn Weaver Morton. On July 1, 1993, in Marshall County, he married Linda Crull Morton, who survives in Argos.
He lived in the Argos community for 30 years. He was a tool and die supervisor at Lobdell-Emery, Argos, and then worked for Oxford Automotive, Argos. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 68, Argos. He was a graduate of Puryear High School, Puryear, Tenn.
Also surviving are one daughter, Tamara Morton, Lansing, Mich.; and one son, Thomas (and spouse Wanda) Morton, Knoxville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Swart Morton.
Services will be 1 p.m. Jan. 7 at American Legion Post 68, Argos.
Calling is from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Jan. 7 at the legion.
