Therese Jeannine "Teri" McDonald, 69, of 112 Meadows, Nappanee, died at 8:22 a.m. Nov. 30, 2008, in Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born July 1, 1939, in Chicago, Ill., to Nicholas and Agnes Mary Wilson Povick, who preceded her in death. In 1961, she married Walter McDonald, who died in 1991.

Living in Kosciusko County since 1977, she was a nursing assistant and home healthcare aid. She was a member of the Salvation Army, Moose Auxiliary and Senior Activity Center, all in Warsaw.

Surviving are four sons: Eugene (and spouse Julia) Wilson, Norman, Okla.; David (and spouse Stephanie) Daniels, Rolling Meadows, Ill.; William McDonald (and companion Angel), Buford, S.C.; and Alfred McDonald, Warsaw; three daughters, Suzanne (and spouse Harold) Edwards and Terri (and spouse Dan) Davis, all of Warsaw, and Mary Jean Bratten (and companion Troy Howard), Nappanee; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Povick, Portland, Ore.; a brother, Ronald Povick, Hebrings, Minn.; 22 grandchildren: Kathy, Michael, Christina, Jimmy, Tabitha, Nina, Dannie, Ashley, Patty, Tasha, Nick, Al, Cindy, Shannelle, Beatrice, Jonathon, Alica, Cassie, Christopher, Linda, Katilyn and Nick; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Povick; a great-granddaughter; six sisters; and five brothers.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Michael Povick officiating.

Calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
