SYRACUSE – Theresa A. Kitson, 53, of Syracuse, died at 3:40 p.m. May 10, 2011, in her residence. She was born April 18, 1958, in Goshen, to Eugene and Doris Wagner Gordon. On Nov. 24, 1978, in Warsaw, she married Jay L. Kitson, who survives. A lifetime Syracuse area resident, she graduated from Wawasee High School in 1976. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at 3 Flags Drive-in, Arthurs Grocery and Pat Chicago Dogs, all in Syracuse. Also surviving are two sons, Brian and Jason Kitson, both of Syracuse; two grandchildren; her mother, Doris Gordon, Syracuse; and two brothers, Mike (and spouse Pam) Gordon, Greensburg, and Brent (and spouse Jodi) Gordon, Syracuse. She was preceded in death by her father. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
