Thelma Marie ScottThelma Marie Scott, 91, died at 12:39 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake. She was a resident of Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, had lived in Syracuse and Warsaw for many years prior.
She was born Oct. 28, 1930, in Bourbon, to Edith Scharelda Marquart Brock and Harley Arthur Brock. She was married Feb. 25, 1950, to Merle J. Miller; he died Jan. 19, 1955. She married Charles B. Scott on Dec. 31, 1960; he died Dec. 11, 1990.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with her service to follow. Thelma’s life will be celebrated at 1 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Mike Hontz. Afterward, a graveside service conducted by Dave Mitchell will take place at 3 p.m. at Bremen Cemetery in Bremen.
