Thelma L. Thomas, 91, of Warsaw, and formerly of Etna Green, died at 2:25 a.m. Jan. 6, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Dec. 14, 1919, in Henry County, to Eldridge and Rose Stephens Saunders. In 1937, in Etna Green, she married Walter Warren Thomas, who preceded her in death in 1987.
A 75-year Kosciusko County resident, she was a homemaker; a member of Church of Christ, Etna Green; and a founding member of Senior Our Night Out Women.
Surviving are a son, Rod Thomas, Etna Green; and two brothers, Dean Saunders, Logansport, and Gaylord Saunders, Scottsdale, Ariz. She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Etna Green Church of Christ with Pastors Jordan Ickes and Joe Lampton officiating. Burial will be private in Etna Green Cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
