MENTONE – Thelma “Faye” Lowe, 91, formerly of rural Warsaw, and a resident of Mason Health Care, Warsaw, died at 8 a.m. Dec. 21, 2015, at Mason Health Care, Warsaw. She was born April 1, 1924, in Van Lear, Ky., to Clayton and Gracie Boyde Bowling. On Nov. 18, 1972, in Akron, she married Alvin R. Lowe, who preceded her in death March 18, 2013. She retired from Kralis Brothers Foods and then later retired again from Creighton Brothers. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, Silver Lake. She enjoyed taking care of her family and tending to her garden. Surviving are three daughters, Donna Johnson, Seneca, Mo.; Betty Louise Owens, Argos and Cindy Lee Hively, Warsaw; four sons: Larry T. Booth, Fort Wayne, Harold V. Booth, Wabash, Bennie Hively Jr. and Mickey A. Hively, both of Warsaw; two sisters, Ethel Mae Clifton, Wabash, and Loraine Music, Grand Rapids, Mich.; two brothers, Carl Bowling, Van Lear, Ky., and Billie Jean Bowling, Wabash; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Sue Hoppus; five brothers and three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the Rev.
