KENDALLVILLE – The Dekko Foundation, a private family foundation located in Kendallville, awarded more than $1.1 million in grants and pledges to youth-serving organization during its most recent round of grantmaking.
Celebrating its 45th birthday later this year, the Dekko Foundation invests in youth-serving programs and organizations that align with its mission of “Fostering economic freedom through education.”
Local organizations that received an investment included:
• Oakwood Foundation, Syracuse, $30,000 to support staff and operations.
• Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Warsaw, $10,000 for preschool and nature preschool programs.
