The Times-Union will print the Weekender issue today, Thursday, Dec. 24. We will be closed today and Friday for Christmas. Our next issue will be Monday, Dec. 28.
Thank you for all your support throughout the tumultuous and uncertain 2020. We have all had a year unlike any of us can recall. We have had our lives turned upside-down, and some in our community have had to deal with much worse. All of us felt some effect from COVID-19, and we here at the Times-Union were not immune.
It likely goes without saying, but the Times-Union is nothing without this community, and we have felt your support throughout this year. We hope 2021 will be a better year for us all and by most expectations it will be.
The Times-Union has been printing for more than 166 years! We were celebrating our first five years of existence when America elected Abraham Lincoln as president. We were coming up on our centennial at the Times-Union when the boys landed on the beach at Normandy.
We have been owned by the same family for the entire 166 years and we print our own paper, in-house, every day. This is not possible without you, our faithful reader. We want to bring you the news and events for another 166 years and we look forward to serving you in 2021.
