Terry Dale Hostetler, 63, Elmore City, Okla., passed away at 5:50 a.m. Oct. 27, 2013, in Norman Regional Hospital, Norman, Okla. He was born Jan. 22, 1950, in Fort Wayne, to Merrill D. and Marjorie Curtis Hostetler. On Sept. 6, 1969, in Pierceton, he married Mary Espinoza, who survives in Elmore City and Warsaw. He recently moved to Elmore City from Warsaw. He was a 1968 graduate of Pierceton High School. He served with the United States Army from 1969-1971. He worked at Dalton Foundry for 39-1/2 years as a mold technician, retiring in 2013. He also farmed. He was a member of United Steelworkers – Local 6805, National Cutting Horse Association and Packerton United Methodist Church. He loved being outdoors, being out on the farm raising cattle and bailing hay. He was a wonderful and caring husband and father, and the highlight of his life was attending his grandsons' basketball and football games. Also surviving are two daughters, Marcia (and spouse Brian) Rhoades, Warsaw, and Sarah (and spouse CJ) Urbanek, Davis, Okla.; three grandsons: Riley and Jack Rhoades, both at home; and Jack Urbanek, at home; and a brother, Gary Hostetler, Wynnewood, Okla. He was preceded in death by his father, Sept. 29, 2009, and his mother, Dec. 10, 2012. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Bill Wood, former pastor of Packerton United Methodist Church, officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
