Teen Facing Molesting ChargesA Warsaw man is facing two felony counts for child molesting.

Andy Tlaxcalteca, 18, of 3762 W. Old 30, #27W, Warsaw, also showing an address of 419 S. Indiana St., #B, Warsaw, is charged with child molesting, a Level 3 felony; and child molesting, a Level 4 felony.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Feb. 15, on Nov. 25 a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a child molestation complaint through a Department of Child Services report. Multiple juvenile victims allegedly were molested by Tlaxcalteca.

On Dec. 1, Safe Harbor Advocacy Center completed a forensic interview with the first victim, who reported that while sleeping, the victim was touched in a way the victim did not like in the crotch area, according to court documents. The first victim stated Tlaxcalteca was told to stop and then pushed away.

The first victim described being touched multiple times in the past with the most recent event being a week prior to the interview. The first victim reported seeing Tlaxcalteca touch a second victim in a similar fashion.

On Dec. 1, Safe Harbor Advocacy Center conducted a forensic interview with the second victim, who said while sleeping in her residence, Tlaxcalteca would return from home and lay down with both victims, touching them. The second victim said she saw Tlaxcalteca rub the first victim in the crotch area and touched the second victim there, as well.

During the investigation, according to court documents, the touching was determined to have occurred between August and November.

On Dec. 9, a deputy spoke with Tlaxcalteca. Tlaxcalteca, after learning of the allegations, admitted to touching the first victim maybe two times, but denied touching the second victim, according to court documents.

A no-contact order was issued.

He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail  at 7:33 p.m. Thursday and has a bond of $20,250.
