Tech ResQ Holds Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony With Kosciusko Chamber Of Commerce

Tech ResQ, 2208 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, celebrated opening its location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Owner Christian Vazquez-Juarez said Tech ResQ is a repair shop that works on consoles, phones, tablets, laptops, “generally anything electrical.”
“We do all sorts of work. A lot of main stuff ends up being because we are technicians,” he said, adding technicians at Tech ResQ are at least level 2 technicians.
Most commonly, he said people will see what are called level 1 and level 2 technicians. Level 1 technicians can do basic repairs like speakers going out and doing general inspections. Level 2 and above basically diagnose board issues. Vazquez-Juarez said a board is essentially where everything connects to. Issues they may see at that point includes a customer comes in and their phone is completely dead.
Vazquez-Juarez said they are hoping to open their brick-and-mortar location on Winona Avenue on Monday, but right now, they are going to heavily push their mobile service that they’ve been doing for close to two or three years.
He said he and the two other employees at Tech ResQ love working with electronics and tinkering with things, especially with how things are going as prices are rising and it’s getting more expensive to buy things.
“And, ultimately, our goal is to show that buying a new object isn’t always the best option. There are repair routes. Usually, those are going to cost significantly less than just buying a new console. And that’s our whole goal. We want to make sure that electronics aren’t going to waste and we want to make sure everyone has that time to get everything fixed as it should be,” he said.
Tech ResQ decided to open a brick-and-mortar location because there are people who don’t feel comfortable having a technician coming to their home for work and that’s something they want to cater to as some customers want to come in to a location and drop something off, he said. If something happens, some people come back into the store.
With the mobile service, people can schedule a pickup or schedule a technician to come to a location. People can set up appointments for mobile services through their website at http://tech-resq.com/ or by calling 574-328-2531, which will lead into the store directly.
Hours at the Winona Avenue location will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
