Editor, Times-Union: Front page news! The words “tattoo”, “body piercing” and “body art” are offensive and should not be visible to the public. It’s OK to run your business, but you can’t advertise. A business that is legal in the state of Indiana. Please, enlighten me as to why these words are so offensive to the people of Warsaw and Kosciusko County? It’s OK to put “liquor”, “bar”, “saloon”, “quick cash”, “tobacco”, etc. on your signs for the whole world to see but not tattoo. What about lingerie, you know, under clothes, bras, panties, nighties, etc., would it be OK for me to put that on a sign for everyone to see. My, my, it might offend someone! I know both of these gentlemen and they are professional, talented individuals who run reputable businesses with repeat customers. They both support the community of Warsaw in numerous, generous ways; reported to us by our own local TImes-Union newspaper. I’m glad they got their variances to continue business and support their families. But this stuff with the signs? Ridiculous. Laura Wagner Warsaw, via e-mail
