A Syracuse man was cited for speeds too fast for the weather conditions after a three-vehicle accident Monday morning.
The incident occurred at 8:56 a.m. Monday on Ind. 15, north of CR 18, in Elkhart County.
According to an Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office crash news release, a 2011 Ford F250, pulling a trailer, driven by Tye Elder, 35, Syracuse, was traveling north on Ind. 15. A 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Sol Luna, 39, Middlebury, and a 2020 Lincoln SUV, driven by Nathan Dymond, 51, Richland, Mich., were traveling south on Ind. 15.

Luna was taken to the Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of pain to the chest, wrist and ankle.
The Ford F250 sustained damage to the front end. The 2013 Chevrolet Cruze sustained damage to the front end on the driver’s side. The 2020 Lincoln SUV sustained damage all over.
All drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the release.
