Syracuse Man Arrested On Resisting Law Enforcement Charge

A Syracuse man was arrested after allegedly fleeing from a law enforcement officer in a vehicle.
Sean Adam Dada, 42, of 8164 E. Sunrise Drive, Syracuse, is charged with resisting law enforcement, a level 6 felony.
He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 2:36 p.m. Tuesday on a $10,000 preliminary bond.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on March 6 Kosciusko County Dispatch told the North Webster Police Department of an unwanted subject at a gas station as Dada was bothering customers. A NWPD officer responded and talked with Dada.
The officer told Dada he was detained and told him not to leave. Dada entered his vehicle and drove away.
The officer pursued Dada north on Ind. 13 with emergency lights and sirens activated. Dada eventually pulled over north of North Webster on Ind. 13.
The officer grabbed Dada’s arm and Dada pulled away. The officer grabbed Dada’s keys to prevent him from driving away. Dada grabbed the officer’s police radio and ripped it off his vest.
The officer placed Dada on the ground and told him to put his hands behind his back.
A Syracuse Police Department detective arrived to assist and Dada was handcuffed.
