Syracuse Chamber Announces Formation Of Foundation

SYRACUSE – The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce announced the official formation of the SWCC Foundation Inc. and the recent receipt of its nonprofit, 501c3 status from the Internal Revenue Service on March 31 in a letter received on Thursday.
The SWCC Foundation Inc. will create, promote and develop the economic, civic, cultural and social welfare of the citizens of Syracuse through placemaking projects and community arts and entertainment programs, according to a news release from the Chamber. The SWCC Foundation will actively solicit funds to support these activities.
The goal of the SWCC Foundation is to make the greater Syracuse community a better place for all to live, work, play and invest.
The SWCC Foundation Inc. will immediately start working on beautification projects in partnership with the town of Syracuse.
