I have enjoyed reading the articles about the Warsaw swimming team all year. I also have been tracking the divers, mainly the girls. Kirsten Fatchett has been awesome. Despite the two mishaps on her dives Saturday, she still managed a fourth-place finish, which has advanced her to Regionals tonight at South Bend Riley.
The purpose of the e-mail is that no one is aware of this because it was not mentioned in the article. She has kept a positive attitude all year, supporting the newspaper when they have misspelled her name on numerous occasions, but at least she got some recognition. To totally leave her out was disappointing.
Please make a note and mention her in the future, with the correct spelling. Her mother has contacted the paper on three occasions, even going to the office and explaining the correct spelling. I hope that this can be finally resolved.
