Susie Barber Jackson, 75, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Oct. 23, 2015, at Indiana University Health Goshen Hospital. She was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Warsaw, to Dail Sr. and Edy Cochran Barber. On June 22, 1985, in Burket, she married Larry Jackson, who survives in Warsaw. She was a 1958 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. A lifetime Warsaw resident, she retired after 40 years of service as office manager for Warsaw Black Oxide. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Parents Without Partners and was a participator in 4-H. Also surviving are two daughters, Loni (and spouse Dan) O’Hara, Claypool, and Heather Phillips, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two sons, Ken (and spouse Pam) Parks, Anderson, and Michael Jackson, Muncie; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Dail (and spouse Jan) Barber Jr., Akron; and a sister, Buni (and spouse Bill) Leininger, Akron. She was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home.
