Editor, Times-Union: I will admit that Bob Sanders is a close friend of mine. It is for that reason I can encourage you to reelect him as a county councilman at-large.
Bob Sanders is not the quiet, shy, stay-at-home type. He gets involved and is not afraid to speak up if he thinks there is a better way. I know about his integrity and his committment to this country. He has been deeply involved with civic and charitable organizations, so much so that in 1998 he was publically recognized for his contributions.
We need elected leaders with this attitude, conviction and experience. I am voting for him, and I urge you to vote for him too.
