Editor, Times-Union: Each of us has known mayoral candidate Dr. Joe Thallemer for nearly 40 years. In the course of the decades, we have seen a man who we whole-heartedly support for the next mayor of our fine town. In Joe, we see a man of character. He is true to his wife and family and is committed to doing the right thing. He has demonstrated his character qualities to this community over the years, and we as his close friends have observed it, even behind closed doors. Joe also is a man with competence. Starting an optometry office from scratch, he has built it into one of the largest in this area, and he has served our community well as a city councilman over the past 12 years. Joe does his work well, and it is obvious to each of us that he is competent to be the next mayor of Warsaw. Joe is a man full of conviction. Out of reverence for God, he obeys the laws and serves his wife, family, business and community the right way because it is the right thing to do. Lastly, Joe has good chemistry. He gets along with people; he has few enemies and many, many friends. He does not rub people the wrong way and is well spoken of by his peers. Based upon these four “C”s, character, competence, conviction and chemistry, we whole-heartedly support Dr. Joe Thallemer as the next mayor of Warsaw, Indiana. We hope our letter will help you make your decision in supporting him as well. Don Clemens, Terry Bannon, Linda Francis, Jan Barber, Paula Bowman, Marlin J.
