Stolen Hat

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

For the last couple of years, the Warsaw Library has put out fall displays for the enjoyment of our patrons (and staff). This past Saturday, Oct. 4, someone chose to steal the fedora hat off of the display character in the circulation area. Just a hat, you're probably saying? Not for one person who is on the staff. The hat belonged to her deceased grandfather, and is very important to her. I would never have used it had I thought someone would even consider stealing it.

If someone came home with a tan and black fedora style hat, please consider bringing it back to us. We feel that it was a couple of youth, and are checking surveillance cameras to be sure. Please drop it in the book drop, or at our circulation desk, no questions will be asked. This precious article needs to be back with its rightful owner.
