Steven Thurlow Mock

Steven Thurlow Mock, 70, Logansport, died at home on Thursday, March 4, 2021, following a battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s.  

Steve was born Jan. 21, 1951, to Mary Kitchen and Thurlow Mock, Syracuse.  He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1969. On June 11, 1972,  he married George Anna Vaughan, Logansport.

He is survived by his wife, Georgie; and two sons: Matthew (Tuesday) Mock, Fort Wayne; and Joshua  Mock, Logansport.  Steve is also survived by his mother; sister, Patti (Larry) Martindale, Syracuse; and father-in-law, Spence Vaughan, Logansport. He leaves his grandchildren: Matthias Mock, Chloe Mock, Izak Mock and Ruby Mock. He had many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his trusted companion and certified emotional support dog, Moe.

He was preceded in death by his father; mother-in-law, Pauline Vaughan; and sisters-in-law, Glinda Rans and Marilyn Dean.

A remembrance service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 13 at Bethel Temple Church, 915 16th St., Logansport. It is asked that masks and social distancing be observed.
