Steven L. Pickens, age 61, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019, at 12:35 a.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
Steven was born on Aug. 18, 1958, in Letart Falls, Ohio, to Elmer and Mary Chaney Pickens. He was united in marriage to Janei Boykin.
Steven proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an employee for the RV Industry. During his life, he enjoyed playing the guitar and camping.
Steven is survived by his wife, Janei Pickens, of Nappanee; son, Doug (Heather) Pickens, of Leesburg; daughters, Stormi (Dennis) Holdeman, of Columbia City; Angela Boykin, of Nappanee; siblings, Nancy (Chuck) Anderson, of Mason W. Va.; Jim (Mary) Pickens, of Pomeroy, Ohio; Bob (Donna) Pickens, of Warsaw; in addition, he is survived by 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
A celebration of Steven’s life will be held at a later date.
