Steve Snyder, 51, passed away May 30, 2013, in Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Fort Wayne, to Billy L. and Susan Snyder, who preceded him in death. He was owner and president of Community Mortgage and Steve Snyder Photography and was the photographer for the Angola Motor Speedway. He was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, a long-time member and past president of the Lake Webster Ski Bees and completed in three Ironman competitions. Surviving are a sister, Jill (and spouse Greg) Frew, New York, N.Y.; his companion, Erlene Yentes, Angola; a stepdaughter, Hillary Yentes, Angola; three uncles: Mike (and spouse Pam) Akers, Fort Wayne; Mark (and spouse Cindy) Akers, Indianapolis; and Kim (and spouse Chris) Akers, Noblesville; and many loving friends. Service will be at 6 p.m. today at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 4700 Vance Ave., with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Calling is from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church. D.O.
