NORTH MANCHESTER - Stella "Grandma" Patrick, 92, of Sidney, died at 7:20 p.m. Nov. 25, 2007, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born Oct. 19, 1915, in Salyersville, Ky., to Smith and Hattie Howard Allen. On Dec. 23, 1932, she married Everett Patrick, who died Oct. 17, 1959.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Pierceton. She was an avid basketball fan of both Whitko and Tippecanoe Valley high schools. She loved gardening, cooking for her family and friends and caring for her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Bill (and spouse Nancy) Patrick and Menifee "Dick" Patrick, all of Sidney; three daughters, Magdalene Stephens and Avadene (and spouse Phil) Bradley, both of Sidney, and Christine Hough, Dewart Lake; a brother, Chester B. Allen, North Manchester; a sister, Ella Ree (and spouse Canton) Moore, Claypool; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and a grandchild, Erin Hough.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with the Rev. Don Poyser officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
