COLUMBIA CITY – Stanley Ford Kistler, 77, of Pierceton, died at 10:55 a.m. Jan. 24, 2013, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center. He was born Aug. 25, 1935, in Warsaw, to Floyd and Evelyn Kilgore Kistler. On April 4, 1970, in Columbia City, he married Pamala Sue Krom, who survives in Pierceton. He was a lifetime resident of Pierceton and he graduated from Pierceton High School. In 2000 he retired after 34 years at Viking Inc., Columbia City, as a supervisor. He was a member of Pierceton Presbyterian Church. Also surviving are a daughter, Kendra S. (and spouse Robert) Courtney, Pierceton; a son, David L. (and spouse Tori) Kistler, Claypool; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one sister. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 2 at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam, with Sharon Brockhaus, certified funeral celebrant, officiating. Graveside military services will be conducted by members of the Whitley Korean War Veterans Honor Guard.
