Police have arrested a Warsaw woman after she allegedly stabbed three people in a home Tuesday morning.
Vickie Louise Wooldridge, 44, of Warsaw, was taken into custody at noon after an hours-long search for her began around 9:40 a.m. following a stabbing at 2501 Westside Drive.
According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis, shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday a 911 call came in reporting multiple stabbing victims at the Westside Drive home.
The initial arriving officers located three victims at the scene and potential suspect information was promptly gathered, Francis said. Multiple agencies, including a helicopter from the Indiana State Police, immediately converged on the vicinity and began a search pattern for Wooldridge.
Police said additional information regarding the identification of victims and the extent of injuries will be released as it becomes available.
At least one victim was taken to a hospital by helicopter.
Responding agencies included KCSO, Warsaw Police Department, Winona Lake Police Department, Pierceton Police Department, Mentone Police Department, Indiana State Police, Lutheran EMS, Lutheran Air Ambulance, Warsaw-Wayne fire Territory and the Kosciusko County Coroner's Office.
