Sidney Clerk-Treasurer Caucus Set For Feb. 25A caucus is scheduled for the replacement of the town of Sidney’s clerk-treasurer. The caucus is necessary after Etta Hurd resigned at the Sidney Town Board meeting Feb. 10. She was appointed as clerk-treasurer Jan. 23 by Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee Chairman Michael L. Ragan after Clerk-treasurer Lana Wolfe and two board members resigned effective Jan. 14. Declarations of candidacy are available at the office of Kosciusko County Clerk of the Circuit Court, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, and must be filed with Ragan no later than 72 hours before the commencement of the meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 25. The position will be filled in the Sidney/Jackson Township Fire Station meeting room, Sidney.
