Shirley Irene McKinleyNORTH WEBSTER – Shirley Irene McKinley, 79, of North Webster, passed away at 3 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born on Aug. 25, 1941, in Los Angeles, Calif., to William and Ethel Weiser Harris.
She grew up in Plymouth and attended Plymouth High School. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Kinro in Syracuse and Wawasee Café in Syracuse. She lived in Goshen and moved to the North Webster/Syracuse area in 1984. She was married on July 4, 1985, to Jonny McKinley, who preceded her in April 2000.
She is survived by four daughters: Cindy (Dennis) Stier, of Fort Wayne; Tina Miller, of Mountain City, Tenn.; Trina Goodsell, of Pall Mall, Tenn.; and Barb Julien, of Reelsville; five sons: Earl (Norma) Goodsell, of Lapaz; Leo (Susan) Goodsell, of Columbus, Miss.; Tim (Su Yen) Goodsell, of South Bend; Randy Goodsell, of Warsaw; and Roy Goodsell, of North Webster; two stepsons: Rodney and Raymond McKinley, of North Carolina; 23 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and an infant daughter, Linda Goodsell.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Solomon Creek Cemetery near Benton.
