Sharon Denton, 63, died Dec. 20, 2011. She was born Jan. 24, 1948, in Warsaw, to Fred and Lucille Steiner. She married Floyd Denton, who survives in Huntington. She was a homemaker. Also surviving are four sons: Mark Nei, Paoli; John Hoffert, Larwill; Tim Martz, Columbia City; and Bill Denton, Huntington; two daughters, Sherri Smetzer, Paoli, and Holly Denton Smith, Huntington; a stepson, Tommy Denton Sr., Huntington; two sisters, Harriett Freeze and Barb Davis; two brothers, Terry and Thomas Steiner; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Rex Steiner, and a grandson, Johnny Denton. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home.
