Shari Anne LambertSYRACUSE – Shari Anne Lambert, 59, of Syracuse, passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
She was born on May 2, 1962, in Goshen to John and Barbara Bitner Miller.
She graduated in 1980 from Wawasee High School, 1984 from Ball State University in Muncie and received her master’s degree from Indiana University in Fort Wayne. She was married on May 23, 1986, in Bremen, to William F. “Willie” Lambert, who survives, and was a lifetime Syracuse area resident. She retired from the Milford Public Library as a children’s librarian and formerly worked as a paraprofessional for Wawasee Community School Corp.
She was formerly involved with the Milford PTO.
She is survived by husband, Willie Lambert, of Syracuse; daughter, Nicole Lambert, of Fishers; son, Nathan (Dani) Lambert, of Syracuse; father, John Miller, of Syracuse; three sisters: Shawna (Jeremy) Van Lue, of Syracuse; Shantel (Aaron) Keith, of Syracuse; and Michelle “Sheli” (Dave) Harmeyer, of Glendora, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 19 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 20 in the funeral home with Nathan Warstler officiating. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
