Norwalk, Ohio – Scott D. Eggleston, 61, Norwalk, Ohio, passed away July 8, 2016. in Fisher Titus Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1955, in Washington, Ind., to the late Robert L. and Carole J. Warner Eggleston, and came to the Norwalk area in 1986 from Warsaw. He was married for 40 years to Anna L. Jordan Eggleston, who survives in Norwalk. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 711, Norwalk. He was a former employee of Industrial Powder Coatings, Norwalk; S K Finishing, Lorain, Ohio; Autoplas, Bellevue, Ohio; and was most recently employed at Artiflex, Clyde, Ohio. He was a talented artist, enjoyed playing golf, swimming and boating, NASCAR and especially enjoyed spending time with family. He was an organ donor, saving the eyesight of two individuals with cornea donation. Also surviving are three children: Jill (and spouse Bill) Lantz, Huron, Ohio; Cari (and spouse Jerry) Hazelwood, Norwalk; Robert (and spouse Emma) Eggleston, Norwalk, Ohio; four grandchildren: Jordan Eggleston (and fiance Taylor Moore), Annikam and Ethan Lantz and Dylan Eggleston; and three siblings: Jane Allen, Union, Mich.; Kelly (and spouse Rick) Lenaeus, 29 Palms, Calif.; and Eric Eggleston, Norwalk. He also was a father figure to so many more. A celebration of his life will be from noon to 3 p.m. July 30 in American Legion Post 253, North Webster, with Pastor Ed Young officiating.
