SYRACUSE - Sarah P. Horan, 80, of North Webster, died at 10:20 a.m. April 8, 2007, in her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 17, 1927, in Anderson, to Robert and Celeste King Williams. She married William T. Horan, who died in 1988.
Moving to Lake Wawasee from Anderson in 1984, she was a homemaker and an Anderson High School graduate.
Surviving are two sons, Patrick (and wife Rhonda) Horan, Greenwood, and Michael Horan, Fort Wayne; a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Horan, Ligonier; eight grandchildren: Sean Horan, Indianapolis; Scott Horan, Richmond; Julie, Kelley and Angela Horan, all of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Andrew (Regan) Knox, Cromwell; Christopher Horan, Austin, Texas; and Tara Horan, Ligonier; and four great-grandchildren: Stacy Tretter, Fort Wayne; Ella Tretter, Schoolcraft, Mich.; Gage Knox, Cromwell; and Connor Horan, Richmond. She was preceded in death by a son, Terrance Horan, who died in March 2007.
A private service will be in Anderson at a later date.
No calling is planned.
