On Saturday, Santa arrived by sleigh pulled by a tractor, to visit with the kids at the Old Schoolhouse in Claypool. The Echoes of the Past hosted kids in the community to an afternoon of Christmas fun. The weather was perfect for a sleigh ride for Santa. Children were treated to cookies and cocoa and sleigh rides through the snow. They could also make a craft to take home, write letters to Santa and pet the alpacas. Dan Ransbottom and Jay Robinson drove the tractor. Russell Rose loaned the sleigh. The Echoes of the Past also thanked Dave Baker for the candy canes and Pass the Cookies for the Christmas cookies. They would also like to thank Reinholt’s Town Square Furniture for the loan of Santa’s chair and Shelhart Acres for bringing the llamas.
