ROANN - Sandra Jean Gagnon, 43, Akron, died at 9:10 a.m. June 27, 2008, at her home.
She was born Oct. 5, 1964, in Wabash, to Bill and Molly Brock Sturgill. She married Terry L. Gagnon, who survives in Akron.
She was a 1983 graduate of Northfield High School. She was an administrator at Oakbrook Village Nursing Home, Huntington, and a member of Potter's House Ministries, Wabash. She loved shopping, reading, quoting the Bible, being in the sun, cooking and her dog, Spirit.
Also surviving are her parents, Bill Sturgill, Roann, and Molly Swift, North Manchester; three daughters: Cassandra Haupert, Fort Wayne; Kristal Gearhart and Renee Gagnon, both of Akron; two sons, Eric Gearhart and Heath Gagnon, both of Akron; three sisters: Sonie Poe, Robin Stanton and Ruth Sturgill, all of Roann; four brothers: Billy (and spouse Rane) Sturgill Jr. and Danny Allen, both of Peru; Josh Allen, Florida; and Dustin Allen, North Manchester.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 335 Chippewa Road, Roann, with Pastor Bernice Pickering officiating. Burial will be at Roann Community Cemetery.
