Sammy K. CullisonBOURBON – Sammy K. Cullison, age 77, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in his home.
Sammy was born to Charles and Maxine Kintzel Cullison on Nov. 20, 1944. He has been a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1963, then went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in education from Ball State University. He was a teacher for the deaf and blind and a principal. He also worked as a truck driver for Creighton Bros., along with being a farmer. He enjoyed collecting coins, John Deere tractors, studying Indiana history and he was a lifelong lover of Sheltie dogs.
Sammy will be missed by his son, Scott (Michelle) Cullison, of Yorktown, Va.; his grandchildren: Angelo, Mia, Miranda, Anthony, Luke and Samuel; his great-grandson, Jonathan; his brothers: Dr. Stephen (Margaret) Cullison, of Hoffman Lake; Barry (Cindy) Cullison, of Etna Green; Ronald (Anita) Cullison, of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nephews.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Maxine; his wives, Becky and Linda; his brother, Dennis Cullison; and his nephew, Chris Cullison.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m. in Etna Green Cemetery, 10305 W. CR 300N (High Street), Etna Green.
