INDIANAPOLIS – Ruth Maxine Pfeiffer, 89, of Indianapolis, and formally of Lake Placid, Fla., died Jan. 23, 2012.
She was born July 9, 1922, in Warsaw, to Ralph and Alice East Byrer. On Dec. 20, 1941, she married Robert Fredrick Pfeiffer, who survives.
She was a supervisor in the mail room for 17 years at Little Crow Foods, retiring in 1981.
Also surviving are a son, Robert Fredrick “Fred” Pfeiffer; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by a brother and a grandson.
A private service was held.
Leppert Mortuary, Indianapolis, was in charge of arrangements.
