PERU - Ruth M. Tresler, 78, of Orange Park, Fla., and formerly of Peru and Warsaw, died at 6 a.m. Jan. 1, 2011, in her daughter's residence in Orange Park.
She was born Oct. 13, 1932, in Peru, to Donald B. and Gertrude Cress Leedy. On June 11, 1950, she married Raymond Tresler, who died in 2005.
She was a 1950 Peru High School graduate.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen (and spouse Kenneth) Witt, Orange Park, Fla., and Beth (and spouse Harold) Hill, Warsaw; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Hollard, Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
