BOURBON - Russell D. Binkley, 100, of 326-1/2 N. Walnut St., Etna Green, died at 10:05 April 22, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
He was born Sept. 22, 1906, in Etna Green, to Charles and Clara Witham Binkley. On Oct. 13, 1940, in Etna Green, he married Dorothy Pellett, who survives.
Living in the Etna Green area most of his life, he spent the winter months in Florida for more than 58 years. He was a member of Etna Green United Methodist Church and the former Etna Green Conservation Club. He spent many years moving buildings and houses and worked at Elkhart Coach, Bourbon, and I&M Manufacturing, Bourbon, for more than 18 years.
Also surviving is a brother, Cecil Binkley, Etna Green. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with Pastor Joe Lampton officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.
