Ruby Jeannette "Mom" Grisso, 90, of Leesburg, died at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 28, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Commonwealth of Virginia, to Charles and Margaret Brubaker Miller. On Oct. 16, 1941, in Sidney, she married Warren H. "Pete" Grisso, who died June 22, 1979.
She lived in Kosciusko County most of her life and was a homemaker. She loved life and was surrounded by her family when she passed away.
Surviving are a daughter, Jeri L. Grisso, Leesburg; two sons, Mike (and spouse Charlotte) Grisso and Fred "Butch" Grisso, all of Leesburg; five grandchildren: Lisa L. Justice and Eric M. Grisso, both of Leesburg; Michael H. and Timothy J. Grisso, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Shane S. (and spouse Nancy) Hanna, Warsaw; six great-grandchildren: Tara L. Justice, Portland, Ore.; Ashley N. Justice, Leesburg; Connor R. Grisso, Hamilton, Ohio; and Alexcis, Bayleigh and Logan Hanna, all of Warsaw; and two sisters, Charlene Tomlinson, Evarts, Ky., and Wanda Creekmore, Hammond. She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
No services or calling are planned.
