Editor, Times-Union: I attended the public forum this past Sunday on Right to Work for the state of Indiana. I walked in thinking that maybe I could see some views other than my own on Right to Work. Boy, was I right!
The event was organized by the United Steelworkers Union, which was a conflict of interest in the first place. I did find out, however, that this wasn’t a forum. It was a Right to Work, Kubacki and Wolkins lynch mob, and I wasn’t about to add my name to that list.
I did learn something new though in the hour that I stuck around. Even though my own research shows the facts and figures that support the argument for Right to Work are there, apparently they are meaningless, baseless and purely political. By supporting Right to Work, I’m against the middle class, which I am part of. Only the argument against Right to Work is fact and figure based. Who knew.
