Rose Susanne Harmon, of Mesa, Ariz., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the age of 75.
Rose was born on May 23, 1950, in Warsaw, to John F. and Mary Ellen Hawkins Mowrey. She grew up in and around Pierceton and graduated in 1968 from Pierceton High School. Rose later moved to Phoenix and then Mesa, Ariz.
Rose constantly demonstrated her love and devotion to our savior, Jesus Christ. She was an unwavering witness of her faith and wanted everyone she knew to understand the love and grace of Jesus as she did. Rose was known for her love of music and her talent of playing the flute, piano and guitar. She found enjoyment in composing and singing her own songs, which always reflected her faith in Jesus.
She is survived by her brothers, David (Betty) Mowrey, of Virginia, Minn.; Dan (Irene) Mowrey, of Lebanon, Ky.; Joe (Sally) Mowrey, of Fremont; James (Christy) Mowrey, of Berne; and many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Ellen Mowrey; and her sister, Nancy (Mowrey) Booth.
A graveside gathering for family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in rural Pierceton. Arrangements were entrusted with Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
