Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Visits Kosciusko County In March

Posted

Live Well Kosciusko announced its partnership with Parkview Health’s Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, bringing accessible pediatric care directly to communities throughout Kosciusko County this March.
The Care Mobile is a pediatric doctor’s office on wheels, providing wellness and preventive health services directly to local children and families, according to a news release from Live Well Kosciusko.
The Care Mobile will be stationed at the following community locations:
• Tuesday, March 3 – Baker Youth Club, 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 10 — Leesburg Lions, 114 W. School St., Leesburg, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Monday, March 16 — Baker Youth Club, 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, March 25 – Warsaw Community Public Library, 310 E. Main St., Warsaw, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Appointments are available during posted hours, and walk-in visits are welcomed. Families can also schedule services by calling 1-877-774-8632.
The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile team includes providers from Parkview Physicians Group – Pediatrics, delivering services that include well-child visits, immunizations, routine screenings (such as hearing and vision), sick visits and more — all aimed at improving access to quality pediatric care for children aged 0 through 18. Services are provided regardless of a family’s ability to pay; no-charge care is offered for children without medical insurance.
“Meeting families where they are makes a real difference in children’s health and well-being” stated Emily Demopoulos, youth coordinator for Live Well Kosciusko.
Live Well Kosciusko thanks Parkview Health and Ronald McDonald House Charities for making this program possible. They also extended their gratitude to local funders — K21 Health Foundation and Health First Kosciusko — for their support of youth health initiatives, and to site hosts Leesburg Lions, Bakers Youth Club and Warsaw Community Public Library for welcoming the Care Mobile into their communities.
