Ronald G. Hooks, 74, went home to be with Lord and Savior at 6:18 a.m. Oct. 3, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born in Adrian, Pa., to Homer and Gertrude Croyle Hooks. On Nov. 12, 1960, in Adrian, he married Caroline McAfoose.

Living in Warsaw since 1963, he served in the U.S. Army Infantry in Germany from 1956-59. He is remembered by family as one whom enjoyed gardening, taking great pride in his grandchildren and his John Deere tractor. In 1994, he retired from Zimmer as a quality engineer after 23 years of service. He was a member of Brush Valley Brethren Church, Adrian.

Also surviving are two daughters, Vicki (and spouse Jeff) Bradford, Silver Lake, and Anita (and spouse Rob) Bolinger, Burket; and two grandsons, Riley and Evan Bolinger. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arthur Hooks.

Services will be at noon Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with the Rev. Paul Tinkel officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery.
