Roll Dean Neeley, 63, of 2005 Vixen Lane, Warsaw, died at 6:57 p.m. July 31, 2008, at his residence after a battle with cancer.

He was born April 9, 1945, in Marion, to William Milton Neeley and Vera Marie Mahoney. On Dec. 9, 1972, in Angola, he married Edna Louis Honeycutt, who survives in Warsaw.

A 35-year Kosciusko County resident, he was employed at DePuy, Warsaw, for the past 28 years. He graduated from Fairmount High School in 1963. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, serving until his honorable discharge on Oct. 11, 1971.

Also surviving are a son, David (and spouse Tonya) Neeley, Mentone; a daughter, Lynette Burris, Noblesville; four grandchildren, Tadd, Tanner, Taylor and Trevor; and three brothers: Tom (and spouse Fran) Neeley, Marion; Doug (and spouse Kelley) Neeley, Florida; and Rick (and spouse Anita) Neeley, Etna Green. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Carl Adams officiating. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 49 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars 1126.

Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
